Service Engagements: Cancellations and Refunds

Before work begins

You may cancel for a full refund before work begins, including when payment was made before scope or availability was confirmed.

Work begins only after we confirm the scope and start date in writing, receive your written authorization to proceed, and begin the agreed work. Payment or an automated order confirmation alone does not count as work beginning.

If we cannot accept your engagement within the published scope or agree on a start date, you may choose a full refund.

After work begins

You may cancel by emailing us. We will stop further work when we receive your request.

Any deduction from your refund will be limited to completed work valued under a written milestone or cancellation allocation agreed with you before work began. We will provide an itemized explanation and refund the remaining balance. We will not introduce an unagreed cancellation fee or retrospective hourly rate.

If LIMINAL ends the engagement, the same calculation applies to any usable work delivered within the agreed scope; the remaining balance is refunded.

Completed work and concerns

Completed services are generally non-refundable for a change of mind. Your included revision, correction, or refinement round remains available under the engagement’s published terms.

If a deliverable is missing or materially differs from the agreed scope, contact us so we can review and address it. This policy does not remove any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

How to request cancellation or a refund

Email hello@liminalco.io with your order number and request.

Approved refunds will be initiated to the original payment method within five business days. Your payment provider may require additional processing time.

Digital Products

Unless otherwise stated, digital products become non-returnable once they have been downloaded or accessed.

If you experience a technical issue preventing access to your purchase, please contact us and we will work to resolve it.

Physical Products

If LIMINAL offers physical products in the future, any applicable return or exchange policy will be described on the individual product page.
